Police: Body found in creek behind DeKalb County neighborhood

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Police said they found a man’s body in a creek behind a DeKalb County neighborhood on Sunday.

DeKalb County police said they responded to Brook Rose Lane in the Stonecrest area to investigate a report of a person who drowned.

Police said they found a dead 35-year-old man in a creek in the woods behind Brook Rose Lane. He has not yet been identified.

Police said there were no obvious signs of foul play, but homicide detectives have responded to investigate.

Investigators with the medical examiner’s office have also responded.
