33 people displaced by fire at Cobb County apartment complex

MARIETTA, Ga. (CBS46) – Numerous residents have been displaced after a fire destroyed part of a Cobb County apartment complex Friday evening.
The fire started around 7 p.m. at The Park on Windy Hill Apartments on Windy Hill Road.
No one was injured, according to the Marietta Fire Department.
Crews say around 15 units were affected by the fire, leaving 14 families - a total of 33 people - displaced.
Red Cross responded to the scene to provide emergency assistance for basic needs such as temporary lodging, food, clothing and health/personal care items.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
