ATLANTA, Ga. (CBS46) - The Atlanta Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a man wanted in connection to a homicide that occurred on Aug. 7 at 1314 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy NW.

Police say a man was shot and killed in Atlanta’s Bankhead neighborhood on Sunday afternoon.

Atlanta PD officials have confirmed that multiple units responded to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting around 2 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.

The man was later pronounced dead at the scene by Grady EMS, according to officials.

The identity of the shooting victim has not been released by the police.

Detectives are now trying to identify a person of interest in this case. They are asking for the public’s help identifying a male in a white T-shirt that was captured on Ring video.
