Midtown High School students return to school after bomb threat

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - UPDATE: Students and teachers have returned to Midtown High School. No devices were found after K-9 teams searched the building.

ORIGINAL STORY: Students and staff at Midtown High School have been evacuated after a bomb threat Thursday morning.

Atlanta Public Schools says a bomb threat was called in just before 9 a.m. Everyone was evacuated to Piedmont Park out of precaution.

Officials say units are currently sweeping the scene and parents have been notified.
