Woman goes missing around time ex-husband shoots himself, Carroll County sheriff says

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says 46-year-old Samantha Tolbert’s family has not heard from her since Feb. 25 and is very concerned for her well-being.

CARROLTON, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The search is on for a missing woman in Carroll County.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says 46-year-old Samantha Tolbert’s family has not heard from her since Feb. 25 and is very concerned for her well-being.

The sheriff’s office says Tolbert’s ex-husband committed suicide on March 7 and they learned of her disappearance during his death investigation.

Deputies say Tolbert frequents Carroll County, Georgia, as well as Randolph County, Alabama. She is not believed to be in a vehicle or have a phone that she is using.

Tolbert is described as 5 foot 4 inches tall and 165 pounds. She has naturally red hair but dyes it blond.
