2 more arrests made in connection to murder of 14-year-old Meriwether boy

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Two more people were arrested in connection to the murder of a 14-year-old boy in Meriweather County, the sheriff announced.

On Sept. 25, Jordan Alvin Simon was found dead off Rocky Mount Road in Luthersville, according to deputies.

Jamarion Mondrez Ford, 18, and Maurice Jamarcus Malone, 20, were arrested and charged with murder on Nov. 6.

These arrests follow the earlier arrest of Thaddeus Stokes, 23, of Senoia on Oct. 4. Deputies say Stoke’s arrest marked a significant initial breakthrough in this case.

All suspects in this case are being held without bond, deputies say.
