Woman shot at southwest Atlanta home, police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A woman was shot at a southwest Atlanta home on Saturday morning, police said.

Officers were called to the house on Fennell Way SW at around 1:20 a.m. The 21-year-old was taken to the hospital, where she is expected to recover.

Police believe the woman was shot by a man she knew. It’s unknown if the suspect is in custody.

Atlanta News First crews at the scene saw officers also investigating a car and SUV on Tarragon Way, which is a street over from Fennell Way.
