Child injured after being thrown from car during crash, Gwinnett County police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A child suffered only minor injuries after being thrown from a car in what Gwinnett County police are calling “a miracle.”

Video shows a pickup truck crashing into a patrol vehicle at the corner of Buford Drive and Russell Road NE May 23.

A child was thrown from a second car, landing on the patrol vehicle’s hood. The child walked away with only minor injuries.

Officers said it proves how critical seat belts and child safety seats are.
