The GBI is looking into a shooting involving a law enforcement officer from the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday night.

“Mama June” Shannon posted on Instagram Sunday saying her daughter died peacefully at her home late Saturday night.

One person died and two other people were hospitalized in a Saturday night fire in Coweta County.

Two people were burned and taken to the hospital Saturday night after a fire, according to the Atlanta fire department.

A 33-year-old is at the hospital after he was shot on Saturday, Atlanta police said.

More than 1,700 people are currently without electricity, according to Georgia Power.
