1 dead in shooting at DeKalb County apartment complex, police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A man died after a shooting at a DeKalb County apartment complex on Wednesday morning, according to county police.

At around 11:45 a.m., police were called to the 3200 block of Lumby Drive, which is in the Creekside Vista apartment complex. Officers found a man in his 40s who had been shot multiple times.

The man, who has not been identified, died from his injuries. Police said investigators are talking to potential witnesses and looking for evidence.

There is no current danger to the neighborhood, according to officers.
