Semi-truck overturns, blocks lanes on I-285 EB exit ramp to I-75 SB after crash in Clayton County

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Lanes are blocked on the Interstate 285 eastbound exit ramp to Interstate 75 southbound after a semi-truck overturned in Clayton County.

The Georgia Department of Transportation says the crash was reported on Monday morning around 4:51 a.m., blocking all lanes from the exit ramp to I-75 SB.

An Atlanta News First Breaking News Tracker was on the scene and was able to see debris from the semi-truck covering the highway, including onto the opposite lanes.

Emergency responders are on the scene as GDOT encourages commuters to find another route, such as Interstate 675.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

Lanes are expected to be cleared by 8 a.m., according to GDOT.
