DeKalb School Board considers more security upgrades at these 25 schools

ATLANTA, Ga. (Decaturish) - The DeKalb County School Board will meet Nov. 10 to consider approving an $18.5 million security upgrade and installation at 25 district schools.
The district would use sales tax revenue to fund the improvements, according to reporting from the Decaturish.
The contract for security vestibules is the second one the school board has considered this year. In October, the board approved a $17.7 million contract for security improvements at 25 other schools.
These are the schools that would see the improvements:
- Avondale Elementary School
- Avondale High School
- Brockett Elementary School
- Browns Mill Elementary School
- Canby Lane Elementary School
- Cedar Grove High School
- Chamblee High School
- Chamblee Middle School
- Columbia High School
- Coralwood Education School
- Dunaire Elementary School
- Dunwoody High School
- Flat Shoals Elementary School
- Hightower Elementary School
- Jolly Elementary School
- Kingsley Elementary School
- Lithonia High School
- Margaret Harris Comp School
- McLendon Elementary School
- Panola Way Elementary School
- Robert Shaw Theme Elementary School
- Salem Middle School
- Stone Mountain Middle School
- Tucker Middle School
- Woodward Elementary School
