Decatur church receives $500K grant to help house people

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The season of giving is here — and this morning, New Life Church in Decatur has 500,000 more reasons to be grateful.

The church recently received a large donation from the Same House organization as part of the Beloved Benefit, which raised $8.3 million overall. Pastor Marlin D. Harris and Same House CEO Rodney Bullard visited Atlanta News First to discuss how the funding is being put to use.
