Man killed in shooting outside DeKalb County convenience store, police say
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — DeKalb County police said a man was shot to death Tuesday afternoon.
Around 12:40 p.m., officers responded to a person shot outside a convenience store on the 2500 block of East Wesley Chapel Way, near multiple other businesses in unincorporated Decatur.
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound, who was pronounced dead at the scene. On Wednesday, the victim was identified as 46-year-old William Stanley.
Police haven’t made any arrests and could not release any suspect information.
Police said anyone with information on the shooting can send an anonymous tip through the free DeKalb County PD (Tip411) app or by texting “DKPD” to 847411, followed by the tip.
