UGA football player arrested on 11 felony counts of property damage

A University of Georgia defensive lineman is facing multiple felony charges, according to jail records.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A University of Georgia defensive lineman is facing multiple charges after getting arrested last week.

Freshman tackle London Seymour was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 29, and charged with 11 felony counts of second-degree criminal property damage, according to jail records.

Seymour was booked into the Athens-Clarke County Jail at 9:44 p.m. and released at 10:57 p.m. after posting bond.

Seymour, the son of Bulldogs legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Richard Seymour, played in one game during the 2025 season, in the team’s win over Marshall. He joined the Bulldogs out of North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee.
