A Shakespeare Happening returns to Avondale Estates with free outdoor performances
Families can catch live music, kids programming, and a meet-and-greet style twist with the Bard
ATLANTA, Ga. (ATL Live) - Free, outdoor Shakespeare is back on the Avondale Estates Town Green this spring, with performances designed to be approachable for families and first-time theatergoers. Nicole Sage and O’Neil DelaPenha stopped by ATL Live to talk with host Ava Braatz about how the series blends community arts, education, and interactive storytelling.
Audiences can expect to see a live actor portraying William Shakespeare guiding the audience through the show and interacting with the crowd, alongside performance highlights by the Atlanta Shakespeare Company. The March event kicks off a spring schedule that continues into April and May.
