Woodstock drug dealer sentenced after sales in Walmart, Wendy’s parking lots
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A Woodstock man convicted of distributing fentanyl and methamphetamine has been sentenced.
Quentodd Pinkins, 35, entered a negotiated guilty plea on June 2 for three counts of selling fentanyl, three counts of trafficking fentanyl, three counts of illegal use of a communication facility and one count of trafficking methamphetamine.
Pinkins was sentenced to 30 years — 15 to be served in prison and the remainder on probation, according to the Blue Ridge District Attorney’s Office, which covers Cherokee County.
“This defendant showed a complete disregard for public safety by brazenly conducting drug deals in plain sight in the Walmart and Wendy’s parking lots,” Assistant District Attorney Leland McElveen, who prosecuted the case on behalf of the state, said in a statement.
The Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad launched an investigation into Pinkins in 2025. Undercover agents said they bought drugs from Pinkins four times near Highway 92 in Woodstock.
During the last purchase on March 19, 2025, Pinkins was taken into custody. A search of his home and vehicle revealed fentanyl, meth, marijuana, ecstasy, cocaine, a digital scale, cards containing trace amounts of fentanyl, a revolver and $1,411 in cash, according to the judicial circuit.
Pinkins was also ordered to pay a $200,000 fine.
