9 pounds of ecstasy seized during Monroe County traffic stop, deputies say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Nine pounds of ecstasy were seized during a traffic stop Tuesday, Monroe County deputies said.

Deputies stopped a car on I-75 for speeding and found the drugs, along with a handgun, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deconta Daniels and Marquisia Sutton were both arrested and charged with trafficking ecstasy. Daniels was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
