Man convicted of killing 2 during drug deal, Gwinnett District Attorney says

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A man has been convicted of killing two other men during a 2020 drug deal, according to the Gwinnett District Attorney.

The district attorney said Steven Tran, 23, murdered An Ha, 23, and Julian Talbo, 20, on Apr. 16, 2020. According to the district attorney, Tran went to a Lawrenceville home for a drug deal, where he robbed and killed Ha and Talbo.

The district attorney said Tran fired 12 shots.

Tran was convicted of three counts of aggravated assault, two counts of felony murder, two counts of malice murder and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences plus five years.
