Atlanta elementary school students read with real-life Disney princess

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Elementary students in Union City got the chance to meet the voice behind one of their favorite Disney movies — The Princess and The Frog.

Award-winning singer and actress Anika Noni Rose — who plays Princess Tiana — stopped by Liberty Point Elementary School to take young readers along her character’s latest adventure in her new book “Tiana’s Perfect Plan.”

The event was part of Page Turners Make Great Learners’ mission to connect kids with engaging reading experiences that inspire and expand their knowledge of themselves and the world around them.

Each student was given a copy of “Tiana’s Perfect Plan” to take home and continue their reading journey.
