ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - In just 30 days, Cobb County police found and arrested three suspects wanted for murder or homicide, the department announced on Thursday.

The string of arrests started on Nov. 2, when officers received an alert about a man accused of killing someone, hurting two others, and assaulting a 5-year-old child. Police tracked the suspect, who was last seen driving a silver Honda Pilot, to White Boulevard in Cobb County.

Officers saw the car leaving a home and followed it, leading to a short chase that ended in the suspect’s surrender. Police said they also found a weapon allegedly related to the crime during the arrest.

Then on Nov. 12, officers found another suspect who was wanted for failing to appear in court in a homicide case. The car involved sped off, kickstarting a high-speed chase that ended when they crashed into another car.

The driver and a passenger tried to run away, but police caught the driver. The passenger was found and captured the next day in the woods not far from the scene of the crime, according to police.

Finally, on Dec. 1., police tracked a suspect wanted for malice murder in DeKalb County in South Cobb. They pulled over the silver Honda Civic and arrested the man.
