ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Water service has been disrupted again in a DeKalb County neighborhood that went two days without service earlier this week.

The DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management said in a statement Sunday that crews were continuing to make repairs on a broken 8-inch water main at Ottawa Trail and Rock Springs Road in Stonecrest.

“Customers in the area will experience interruption of water service due to the damaged water line,” the agency said.

That is the same location that experienced a water main break on Thursday, which led to a road closure and about two days without water for area residents.

Water officials on Thursday about 6 p.m. said water pressure was fully restored and there are no reported outages.

Bottled water will be available for affected customers at the intersection of Ottawa Trail and Winslow Crossing starting at 1 p.m., officials said in a press release.

Motorists should avoid the area, officials said.
