DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Firefighters DeKalb County are wrapping up putting out an overnight fire at a home.
The fire happened at a home on Malvern Boulevard in Stone Mountain sometime after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
According to the fire department, firefighters were unable to get inside the house when they arrived, saying it was “unsafe” because the roof had collapsed. Most of the damage is through the roof and second floor.
Firefighters believe the fire started because of ammunition that was in the house.
No one was in the house, and no injuries were reported, according to the fire department.
