14-year-old arrested, charged with murder in shooting at DeKalb County apartment complex

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A 14-year-old boy has been arrested after a man was found shot to death at an apartment complex two weeks ago, according to DeKalb County police.

The teen, who has not been identified, faces charges of murder and armed robbery.

On July 25, police were called to the entrance of the complex in the 600 block of Watling Lane in unincorporated Stone Mountain, where they found a man inside a car who had been shot several times.

Deonte Brown, 18, was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died.
