Maymont marks one year in the U.S. and looks to expand into new markets
From Greenville growth to a push into wholesale, here’s what’s next for the European-made women’s brand.
ATLANTA, Ga. (ATL Live) - Maymont stopped by WANF’s ATL Live to talk with hosts Ava Braatz and Savannah Louie about hitting a major milestone: one year in the U.S. The brand was born in Belarus in 2020 and has grown into a European-made women’s line that has appeared on major fashion stages, including New York Fashion Week.
Katerina Vashchilko (Katy), Maymont’s owner, founder and designer, stopped by the studio to discuss what the first year of building in the U.S. has been like—along with what’s ahead as the company expands beyond Greenville.
A key next step: Maymont is opening a wholesale option for boutique owners, including catalog ordering and custom private label production. The team also shared that they’re interested in bringing Maymont to additional markets, with Atlanta among the areas they hope to grow into.
