Showcase Atlanta highlights effort to connect major events with local communities
Atlanta’s own Ludacris is set to headline the day’s live music lineup, bringing a hometown spotlight to the Piedmont Park celebration.

Showcase Atlanta is a regional initiative focused on maximizing the economic benefit and long-term legacy of large-scale events for Metro Atlanta residents and local businesses.
Lamar Stewart, Interim Executive Director of Showcase Atlanta, joined ATL Live hosts Ava Braatz and Savannah Louie to explain the organization’s focus areas, how businesses can get involved, and what’s ahead as Atlanta prepares for a busy slate of major events.

Visitors can spend the day at Piedmont Park with live music, a Kids Zone, food and merch vendors, and interactive games — plus the 3:00 PM World Cup Final on the big screen and local and global performances throughout the day.
