ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Temperatures will trend slightly below average this weekend, but will return to near normal next week.
Saturday: Slightly cooler, breezier
Today will feature more sunshine with highs holding closer to 70 degrees for Atlanta, with 60s in surrounding areas of north and northeast Georgia. East to northeast winds will increase to 10-20 mph, especially after lunch.
Sunday: Staying cool in the afternoon
Sunday brings more sunshine across all of north Georgia, with afternoon highs in the upper 60s for most of the area. Occasionally breezy weather will continue as well.
Next Week: A bit warmer, still no rain
The stretch of late October dry weather continues! Expect a slight increase in afternoon high temperature for most of the week, and there may be some scattered periods of cloud coverage as well. At this point, Halloween still looks dry and mild...with any rain holding off until early November.
