“We have the head of Audi worldwide and he’s going to be spending billions of dollars on a new plant right about 20 minutes from here,” Trump told Atlanta News First’s Abby Kousouris. “Jobs. Jobs, jobs, jobs. And money. Income. It’s very exciting, actually.”

The plant, developed with Peach, Houston and Macon-Bibb counties, will build premium SUVs for North American customers. Site grading is expected to begin in 2027, construction in 2028 and full production in 2031 at 200,000 vehicles a year.

“We are proud that Audi has selected Georgia as the home of their first U.S. manufacturing facility,” Kemp said.

Audi cited speed-to-market, workforce, market access and proximity to suppliers. Georgia Quick Start will develop training with the Technical College System of Georgia.
