Man wanted in fatal shooting at Clayton County restaurant turns himself in

RIVERDALE, Ga. (CBS46) - A man wanted in connection to a fatal shooting at a restaurant in Clayton County has turned himself in.
According to Clayton County Police, just after 3 p.m. on July 20, officers responded to the 1200 block of Highway 138 in Riverdale in reference to a person shot call. When they arrived, they found a man dead laying on the floor inside American Wings & Hibachi restaurant with multiple gunshot wounds.

Detectives say their investigation revealed that the victim, 31-year-old Emmanuel Udoh, confronted the shooter, identified as 21-year-old DeAnthony Whiteside and a fight occurred inside the restaurant at the counter, resulting in Whiteside shooting Udoh.
Whiteside then fled the scene in a vehicle with several people.
Detectives say they were able to identify Whiteside as the shooter through witness accounts and video footage.
Warrants were obtained for Whiteside for Malice Murder and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Crime. He turned himself into the Clayton County Police Department on July 29, according to police.
