Fayetteville’s famous ‘Guitar House’ is for sale again
FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — If you’ve ever driven through Fayetteville and done a double-take at the house that looks like it belongs on a country album cover, you’re not alone.
The “Guitar House” — an iconic home shaped like an acoustic guitar from above — is back on the market. It is curently listed for $465,000, a price drop from the last time we reported the home was for sale at $789,000 in 2022.
The one-of-a-kind property at 115 Wilkins Road has drawn national attention over the years, with features inspired by the instrument itself, including a dome skylight designed to mimic a guitar’s sound hole.

The home is a 3,122-square-foot home with five bedrooms on about 1.5 acres, per the listing. The same listing describes multiple living areas, including spaces that could be used for guests or separate living quarters, plus details like exposed wood beams and custom stained-glass windows.
Architectural Digest previously reported the home was designed by country music artist Elvis Carden and said it became a quirky local attraction over time. They also reported the home’s builder said it took years to complete, helping fuel the property’s lore beyond Fayette County.
The home is listed exclusively by Julia De Sosa Rocha with eXp Realty.
