Dawson County student brings knife to school, sheriff’s office says

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A Dawson County Junior High School student was detained Tuesday after bringing a knife to school, the sheriff’s office said.

The sheriff’s office said there was an altercation between the student and another student, and the first student produced the knife.

The other was treated for minor injuries, but the sheriff’s office did not specify if those injuries were caused by the knife.
