The awards were announced at Wednesday night’s ceremony for the 2026 Michelin Guide to the American South. So. Fox in Atlanta’s Virginia-Highland neighborhood and Uberto Restaurant in Meriwether County received Michelin stars.
So. Fox serves what Michelin calls “Southern-leaning cuisine,” while Uberto Restaurant is known for cooking with farm-grown ingredients.
Eight restaurants also kept their existing one-star rating — seven in Atlanta and one in Marietta.
